The 81st Geneva International Motor Show will be held at GENEVA PALEXPO from March 3rd to March 13th, 2011. The opening ceremony will be presented on Thursday March 3rd at 10:00 AM by the President of the Swiss Confederation, Ms. Micheline Calmy-Rey, the President of the State Council of the Republic and Canton of Geneva, Mr. Mark Muller, and by the President of the Motor Show, Luc Argand , in the presence
of many politicians, businessmen and well known people in the automotive industry.

SHOW'S SECTORS
Over  700 brands from about 30 different countries will be presented by more than  260 exhibitors on a
surface area of 119’000 m2, which will be divided in the following sections:

Private motor cars
Electric and alternative-propulsion cars
Special bodywork for motor cars, design and engineering
Converted cars (tuners)
Accessories and components for motor cars
Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM)
Workshop installations
Miscellaneous products and services

The allocated total exhibition area is approximately  80’000 m2 although there was a demand for over 86’500 m2.

OPENING HOURS
10 hours every day: Weekdays:  10:00 AM – 08:00 PM
Saturdays and Sundays:  09:00 AM – 07.00 PM

ADMISSION PRICES
Daily admission tickets give a one-time access only to the Show.
Adults:    CHF  16.- 
Children aged 6 to 16 and OAPs  CHF    9.-
Groups of 20 people and more:  CHF  11.- /person
50 % discount on all entry tickets sold on site after 4 p.m.
